The Stables near Bushes farm in Blandford was established by Marcia Coombs, instructor and owner. Marcia’s knowledge and skills in training have benefitted the stables for more than 40 years. Marcia is involved with various pony clubs, teaches for Clayesmore school, Castle Court School and is well recognised in her local area. Marcia is well known for her eventing and show jumping, her daughter Sophie has had the full benefit of her mothers expertise and now competes successfully all over the country. The Stables also has an entourage of regular faces as they provide D.I.Y liveries, which makes the whole site a fun and sociable yard.

 

We would like to welcome people of all ages and riding abilities to join in. The Stables is a small family run business and can give you or your children the time they need, to develop ability and confidence. We offer group and private lessons, hacks out and being on the northern fringe of Blandford Forum we have some fantastic rides available right on our doorstep.
